In 1967, the three Vindas brothers buy the first hectares of land from a cattle farmer and continue to produce milk and cheese for the 1500 inhabitants of Palmichal. Two years later, Eduardo, Leonel and Gerardo began to grow the first coffee plants on the imposing slopes of the Tacuotar\u00ed mountains, where no one dared to think of growing coffee. The belief that volcanic soil combined with a relatively dry climate was ideal for growing coffee led them to try cultivating Caturra and Catua\u00ed varieties, protecting rivers and preventing erosion of mountain boundaries.<\/p>\n
This coffee has a Yellow Honey processing, after harvesting the ripe cherries, they are pulped and placed on raised beds to dry.<\/p>\n
